London, July 11th, 2024 - Futura Foods, a leading distributor of Mediterranean dairy products in the UK and Ireland, appoints BIG little LDN as its PR agency as it looks to build engagement with the trade, increase distribution and gain recognition as leaders in Mediterranean dairy.
Futura Foods is renowned for sourcing and collating high-quality, authentic cheese and dairy products from partner dairies across the Mediterranean under one brand umbrella. The company's portfolio includes YAMAS!, Savourez!, RAGAZZI! and Param Paneer.
Known for their award-winning creative and results-driven approach, BIG little LDN will be leveraging their extensive food and drink experience to develop and execute a comprehensive trade PR strategy, focussed on reaching new and existing customers across earned and owned media. The agency's initial focus will be supporting Futura Foods on the launch of the new YAMAS! Whipped Feta, which became available in selected Tesco stores on 3rd July 2024.
Rhian Kinman, Senior Marketing Manager of Futura Foods comments, “BIG little LDN have been on our radar for some time now, so we’re thrilled to finally be working with each other. Their lean agency model fits perfectly with our set up and together it means we’ve been able to hit the ground running and we have some very exciting plans in the pipeline.
As a small team, it’s great to have an agency on board who seamlessly integrate as if they are one of us. Not only are we aligned on so many ideas, but the new ones they have brought to the table have energised our thinking and importantly, given us the woman power to execute them. We’re really looking forward to seeing the results.”
As well as trade PR, BIG little LDN will act as the Futura Foods press office for all media enquiries and are forming an integrated activation plan across TikTok and Instagram for the YAMAS! Whipped Feta launch.
Emma Critchley-Lloyd, Founder of BIG little LDN comments, “We love working with brands we’re already fans or customers of, so to be working with Futura Foods is a dream. As such a well-respected brand across both trade and consumer, it means we can really get stuck into campaigns that build upon that already established foundation and bring the companies heritage to the forefront.”
Quite often in PR and marketing what goes into production isn’t half as interesting as what gets left on the cutting board. Ideas get watered down through a laborious sign off process diluting all the fun, excitement and relevancy with it. The team at Futura Foods don’t fit that mould. They’re bold, not afraid of trying something new and agile - which is every agency’s dream. So, we’re really excited about seeing the next few months pan out and the results we’ll achieve together.”
